   Since long there have been variety of issues causing great threat to the growth of our country or          planet . Among one is ''overpopulation '' . Population explosion is one of the horrendous threats        which will eventually prove to be fatal epidemic .In simple terms we can say OVERPOPULATION    means exceeding human race .The term overpopulation literally means that the number of people     living are more than the available land and resources . As it is understood by the meaning over+population , by the term over ,we mean something which exceeds ,and exceeds what ?? answer is population . so, it simply means,the state when human population is more than the available resources is called the state of population explosion .

 Although it is one of the biggest issue of concern ,but still overlooked many times because of lack of better education and awareness ,even 50% of population is least bothered to even think about this serious issue because somehow is is not affecting their lives at present . And seems an unimportant matter to be adhered . China's population has swelled up to 1.5 billion and India is projected to soar up to 1.53 billion. Both developed and developing countries are at risk of the dangerous problems that overpopulation can and will create.                                                                                

                                   
Population is basically determined by two factors - one is birth rate and another is death rate.When death rate is high than the birth rate, means the number of people dying are more than the number of people born ,it means population graph is descending ,but if birth rate is high than the death rate ,it means population graph is in ascending mode,which is a threatening call ,and a serious global issue to be taken into consideration.

                                   
  There are various causes to boom this vital problem called overpopulation- first and foremost according to me is lack of education or I must say lack of awareness specially in rural areas,people are still uneducated specifically girls ,who are not aware of family planning  well.secondly ,I can say improved medical facilities , in ancient time many of the people died due to unavailability of medical facilities which in result increased the death rate.Now as there are better facilities to cure and save lives ,ultimately give rise to high morality rate. 

                                   
  There are various effects of overpopulation - like unemployment ,deforestation ,pollution ,global warming ,poor health conditions etc.root cause of all these problem is overpopulation ,if there will be more population ,then requirements would definitely increase for everything says - land , food ,natural resources etc,which will result in deforestation ,people have started cutting down the trees for their survival ,they want land to live on and survive with their families,even for projects of dams ,hotels and other site projects people are shaving the tress ,unknowingly the adverse affect of it on the climate ,deforestation would lead to other gigantic problems like increase in pollution ,ultimately result in global warming,whole in whole there will be a huge loss of biodiversity.
                               
    It is not like that we cannot overcome with this problem ,thing is to be concerned and thoughtful,if each and every Indian try to take an initiative and spread awareness about the adverse effects of overpopulation ,specially people of rural background should be given right sex knowledge ,education about family planning , government has taken but could take some more initiatives to control birth rate of India,like in China there is a fine charged,if a couple have more than one offspring. Our government should also take some strong measures to control the panic situation of population explosion in order to save our country and moreover to make our planet worth living
